WordPress with YouTube Data API for Travel Creators

Client: Kamperowcy
Stack: WordPress YouTube Data API v3 Vanilla JavaScript Google Cloud Console CRON

The Problem

Video creators publish new materials primarily on YouTube. Adding every video manually to a separate website means repeating the same work and makes it easy for the website to fall behind the channel.

Developer Paweł Potacki presenting a modern WordPress website mockup engineered for content creators and travel vloggers. The user interface on desktop and mobile showcases automated YouTube API video synchronization and a custom interactive travel map module.

What I Built

The WordPress website was connected to YouTube Data API v3. Published videos can be retrieved and displayed on the website without copying the same information manually after every upload.

  • YouTube Data API v3 integration,
  • scheduled data retrieval through CRON,
  • video presentation inside the website interface,
  • a lighter approach to embedded video loading,
  • layouts adapted for phones and desktop screens.

The Result

The website can grow alongside the channel. New materials are published in the main source, while the website acts as an organized place where viewers can find videos and additional information.
